Strewth, it is great to have you back,regardless of form, but what we need is a complete and truthfull explanation of why you disappeared. I simply cannot believe the strong rumour that Dr John Kingston and his Hansonite mates paid you a handsome sum to roll over. If you give us an explanation I’ll repost my recent contributions and John Kingston’s good name will be cleared, I hope, but you never know. I rarely see the Comical and so missed Fancy Nancy’s version of events.

In response to the discussion on campaign contributions. I intend to conduct a respectful campaign for the Mayoral position on the Fraser Coast Council and do not intend to comment on matters raised in relation to other candidates. On the other hand I do not want to be linked to campaign contributions comments. I have never accepted any campaign contributions for any election I have stood for, including this one. I have no intention of accepting any campaign contributions for this election.

I am strongly against receiving campaign contributions especially from developers. I will not be compromised.

I’d disagree presswatch.. wasn’t a waste.. people are asking questions and given this page has had 650 hits in 24 hours or so she’s just given us publicity money can’t buy.

And.. this time round there is not just one coming at them there is two.. check out http://bringbackstrewth.wordpress.com for candidate pages as Strewth! had before.. Bringbackstrewth will work side by side with Strewthreloaded to ensure the message gets out there.. its not too late!

Very few people make political donations for nothing.
There is always a payback,Shylock demands his pound of flesh. So what can councillors offer? The keys to your city. Big signs, TV, full page adds, all cost money. Think carefully before you vote.

good your back .. did you see the rags rave on saturday what a waste of a front page, pity NP Nance’s joy will turn to sadness when she realises that people can have a say with out her setting the agenda… just have to get the word out there again.

And welcome! I was in the process of doing the same when I was informed someone had beat me to it.

Got to love the internet.. everything leaves traces and it doesn’t take a genius to find just about anything.

Well done Ms Bates, you have given Strewth! the biggest plug ever.. it must have been such a great feeling as you put the paper to bed on Friday night.. and a rude shock when you realised your stupidity this afternoon when Strewth or at least its reload appeared!

If we can keep the ‘lies and salicious innuendo’ out of this new version we’ll keep everyone happy.. or will we? Lets all keep to the facts.. minutes of meetings are great and.. just a suggestion.. if someone wants to take personal jibes at candidates.. be real and put your name to it.

Great to see Strewth back in some form.
Is it possible to provide the list of candidates again with comments? That is the most important thing in the next week; that voters get to know their candidates, warts and all! Not the controlled rubbish Nancy wants to brainwash people with in the Chronically Ill.
